Directions:
Cook sweet potatoes, peel and slice. Melt butter in saucepan and cook apples until tender. Add potato slices and use potato masher to make apples and potatoes smooth. Stir in cider and brown sugar and salt and pepper. Heat slowly until steaming hot. Note: If desired you can leave apples and potatoes as is without mashing for a different texture. Garnish with more apple slices if desired.
