Ingredients:
- 4 medium onions, halved
- 1/3 # pitted prunes
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1 Tbl. sage
- 2 Tbl. sugar
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup wine vinegar
- 3 cups red wine
- 1-1/2 cups cooked lean ham, finely chopped
- 2 wild ducks

Directions:
In a casserole place the ducks, onions and prunes. Mix wine and vinegar with all the spice and raisins. Pour over the ducks. Cover with a lid and cook at 375 for 1 and a quarter hours. Serve half a duck per guest.
