Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Blend in vanilla, add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Beat in flour. Grease and flour cookie sheet. Drop 6 teaspoon size balls of dough on each cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375'F for 15-20 minutes. (Barely brown around the edges) Loosen cookies carefully from warm pan. Softly fold each in half, wrapping fortune inside. Keep top out and pinch ends to form crescent shape. Let cool.
Yields approx. 33 cookies.
*if you use margarine don't use one with water in it!!
