Martha's Chocolate Marshmallow Cake
Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 Sticks butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Cocoa
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 6 ounces Miniature marshmallows

Directions:

Cream butter, sugar and cocoa. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour, nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Pour batter into greased and floured 9x13"e pan. Bake at 325~ F for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and place miniature marshmallows on top of hot cake.

ICING:

  • 4 TBSP butter
  • 1 lb confectioners sugar
  • 4 TBSP cocoa 1 tsp vanilla
  • milk for desired consistency
Cream all ingredients together and spread on warm cake. Cool cake before cutting.
