Melt butter in pan, add onion, bacon and curry powder, cook stirring, a few minutes; Stir in flour, cook a further minute. Gradually add milk, stir constantly over heat until mixture thickens, remove from heat, stir in chicken, seasoning and cheese. Spread mixture onto tray covered with plastic wrap, refrigerate until cold. Shape mixture into 15 croquettes. Dip into combined egg and milk, toss in breadcrumbs. Deep fry in hot oil a few at a time until golden. Drain.
