Ingredients:
- 1-1/3 c sugar
- 1 c water
- 1/2 c white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cloves, whole
- 32 oz jar dill pickles

Directions:
Drain the juice from the pickles and throw away. Cut pickles into chunks and return to the jar. Heat together the sugar, water and vinegar till it comes to a boil, boil till liquid is clear. Pour the liquid over the pickles, and add the cloves.Cool and refrigerate. Leave for a few days for flavor to penetrate. They become more flavorful with age.
