Ingredients:
- 8 pounds chuck steak 1" thick
- 4 teaspoons oregano
- cut into serving pieces
- pepper & salt to taste
- 4 packages onion soup mix
- 8 tablespoons cooking oil
- 4 cans italian tomatoes
- 8 teaspoons red wine vinegar

Directions:
In large skillet, arrange meat, cover with onion soup mix, add tomatoes, sprinkle with oregano, garlic, pepper, oil and vinegar. Simmer covered 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. This dish can also be cooked in the crockpot. Simmer 3-4 hours.
